It’s round three for the feather family. And another patient couple not finding out the sex of their new baby.  I couldn’t stand not knowing!

So so soo exciting. Hmm, I wonder if it’s another boy?? Wowzers

Remember the fun backyard featuring in Tara & Charlotte’s belly session. Well, we ran with the theme for the totally cute Mr Tate. Need I say more..



Micaela’s dear friend gave her a gift voucher for a portrait session when she was pregnant. How thoughtful!

So here are the results. Proud mama & dada with little Riley. He did so well on his first photo shoot. Was great to meet you guys, I enjoyed chatting!

Hope this finds you in good health.

So I have finally done it!

I have finally got my head around managing 2 blogs, and have deleted all the personal posts from Celebrations Studios blog.

This will now return to being the blog for the studio only.

And all my personal ramblings have been moved to a new space, called little gift.

Owww, cute hey.

It’s all under construction and still in the making, and taking time as I have mountains of emails to wade through and very little online time,  I’m on the road shooting today & over the weekend, visiting a Steiner play group tomorrow, catching up with friends and most time consuming of all – my little man River!

Jasmin and I have been friends since we were kids. She was my neighbour, and our mums have stayed friends over the years. Even after they moved away, when we were both in early primary school. (I can’t remember exact age – lil help Jaz?? Lol) Anyhow, after all these years, and a big distance, it turned out to be freakishly weird that we both had babes who are only months apart!

So it was wonderful to see these guys during our Cairns trip – in fact, they were half of the motivation to go up! Darlings Abby & Luarna being the other.

Although I must say Jaz, looking forward to having more time next trip, and watching the boys play! That’s early motherhood though, burbs, bibs and sleep schedules!

Was an awesome time and big thanks Abby and Fredrick for showing us the town. I hope to post more, or at least email to you. Wish wish wish we did the cane field shoot, argh, next time hey.

What a little doll she is! Meet Charlotte and her mama Tara. Was magical playing in their sweet backyard.

Actually, Tara has gone the full hog with this pregnancy being totally natural, no scans, monitoring or doctors. A peaceful  home birth with a caring midwife. Wishing you all the best, and sorry dada that we missed you this shoot.

Another day back to school, at St Rita’s College. The art room makes me wish I was enrolling in a course !
