Micaela’s dear friend gave her a gift voucher for a portrait session when she was pregnant. How thoughtful!
So here are the results. Proud mama & dada with little Riley. He did so well on his first photo shoot. Was great to meet you guys, I enjoyed chatting!

Jasmin and I have been friends since we were kids. She was my neighbour, and our mums have stayed friends over the years. Even after they moved away, when we were both in early primary school. (I can’t remember exact age – lil help Jaz?? Lol) Anyhow, after all these years, and a big distance, it turned out to be freakishly weird that we both had babes who are only months apart!
So it was wonderful to see these guys during our Cairns trip – in fact, they were half of the motivation to go up! Darlings Abby & Luarna being the other.
Although I must say Jaz, looking forward to having more time next trip, and watching the boys play! That’s early motherhood though, burbs, bibs and sleep schedules!
Was an awesome time and big thanks Abby and Fredrick for showing us the town. I hope to post more, or at least email to you. Wish wish wish we did the cane field shoot, argh, next time hey.

Harry was the most perfect model for us, sleepy babe. Oww why didn’t I get one of those! haha
His poor big sister was not well, so the shot of the two was the ONLY one I managed to capture. Owww.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting little Miss Ava. One week old. Owww, oww owww! How precious.

My other dear friend Jasmin in Cairns had her little man Logan on Sunday.
Congratulations beautiful woman, so proud of you! All of you baby having women. It’s such a HUGE deal!

Mothering for me in the early days always seemed like such a chore and still is at the best of times. I wish I had your zeal and commitment. You're a real inspiration. You have taken hold of your role as a mother in leaps and bounds and with such enthusiasm and brought a light into what can be a very hard time for alot of ppl as it was for me. Remember Mel? Well, I did her belly photographs. Here is her little angel, Samara. Oh my gosh! How cute is she!! The plan was to use my newly invested in (although didnt arrive until River was too big!!) knitted birds nest. But alas, she is too long. Still, we got some beautiful images they will cherish forever. Oww
How special is the swirl, it reminds me of our little Rivers hair when he arrived!

What a dream session. Little buba Eva was just perfect, and slept most of the time. Only a month old, she is the most precious little thing. I left feeling so excited about the arrival of our buba.
The studio actually photographed Liz and Gary’s wedding, so it was really nice to catch them again and hear how they have been.
Oh yes, and congratulations are in order to Gary on his new job!
