Meet the Devine family. I met them at the beautiful Canungra Valley Vineyard. The house actually use to belong to their grandparents, relocated from Warwick.
It was dad’s 70th Birthday celebration, so they organised for a family get together, coming from Adelaide , Brisbane, Toowoomba & Gold Coast all to celebrate over lunch. We managed to fit in some quick photographs showing off the gorgeous building and this lovely family.
Thanks guys, will open your online gallery soon

David & Anita’s Wedding
Owww, what a gorgeous day! I met up with Anita & David briefly in
It was the most beautiful little ceremony, with just two guests Wayne from the Mouse House, and Anita’s lovely friend, Sam. Whom she bumped into in Brissy, and was a huge help with dress disaster help, make-up, hair & holding my light – thank you so much Sam – it wouldn’t have been the same without you. It was just so so special to be apart of their day, I felt very privileged.
The vows bought a tear to my eye, written by Anita and conducted by Marlee from Heart2 Heart Ceremonies.
My favorite celebrant on the Coast, Marlee is a wealth of knowledge and gives her couples so many wonderful options. David & Anita had a sand ceremony, using the sand from their home, all the way up in Townsville.
Their family and friends are busting to see their photographs, as they will be presented to them all as part of their celebrations when they return home. Congratulations guys, and thanks again for having me apart of your day – it was beautiful. xoxo
I got up bright an early today (5.30am – as i WAS shooting up in Brissy, but yet again, the wet weather has had me cancel an outdoor shoot – however it gave me time to upload loads of images from their day. Enjoy
How awesome is the red dress, oh oh, and how sweet is the Mouse House resident doggy.
Cricket Australia
To all those Cricket fans, you would have loved what I did today! A whole day, of photographing cricket. Haha. The Emerging Players Tournamnet goes for two weeks, I photographed India vs South Africa, Australia VS New Zealand. Again, something different and interesting to see. I have never watched so much cricket in my lifetime! haha
I had photographed the Australian team back at the start of the year (another session I may not have posted) , and was thrilled to be invited back for more team shots, and some action. Definitely could have benefited with an even bigger monster zoom! (I had a 300mm, which converted to 450mm on the Canon 30D)
Real Estate
The Celebrations business name & vision is aimed at Celebrating events, however, I do have experience photographing corporates, products & real estate. Today I exercised this skill and photographed a property in Worongary. It will be listed with the lovely Maria Hancock, from Real Estate of Distinction.
I love the variety I get from working as a photographer. My Real Estate experiences really kicked off when a portrait family of mine asked me to get in a Cherry Picker to photograph their property, man that was fun! haha Keep an eye, there will be more properties to come!
Liam, Deb, George & James
When I walked in the door I thought uh oh! Little George is super shy, this is going to be tricky. Within 5 mins, he had warmed up,to the point where i was not allowed to leave his room! What a cutie. I actually photographed George when he was 9 months old, about 2 years ago.
His little brother is James, who is 11 months old. He shines when he smiles, it’s just amazing! And they both have the most awesome blue eyes, lucky boys! haha
It was a fun session, finishing up with George dancing with mum to his favorite artist – Olivia Newton! Precious. Thanks for having me back, can’t wait to share the images
Lisa & Fursey
Woot woot! How special as these two. Lisa & Furs met out one evening, Furs went back home to Ireland, and couldn’t get that Aussie girl outa his mind! The rest is now history
What a gorgeous wedding to be invited to, I had a wonderful time with their lovely friends and family. Married at St Josephe’s in Nambour, their reception was at the beautiful Novotel Twin Waters - the rooms are beautiful, and the venue over the water is just amazing. Very romantic getaway
Although I was more concerned then Lisa about our bridal party session time, & the weather when we got to the beach – I have loads of fun shots and know they will love the memories.
Thanks guys, good luck together in Ireland !! xoxoxo
Whoops, no favoritism,I just have a lot of shots uploaded here!

- Oh wow these are amazing! I can't believe how well they turned out knowing how rushed we were haha! And I can't believe how good the beach shot is... amazing what retouching in a blue sky can do hey :-)
Can't wait wait to see the rest, I love them.
Northside Therapies
I met Simone Keddy back when we were both apart of the Brisbane Birthright Network, 2005.
I did some promotional images, and after all this time, when it came time for some more shots – she tracked me down and asked me to come up to their Kallangur practice to photograph them again!
I was thrilled, and I’m excited to see her & her husbands business doing so well. Isn’t it awesome, someones dream became a successful reality. It really inspires me!
I couldn’t resist getting some extra images of Simone with her little boys.
Very cheeky shots, fun
Thanks Simone, and congratulations!! You can visit them at Northside Therapies.
