What an awesome Christmas this family is having! All holidaying together on the sunny Gold Coast.

Bluecare had me visit another of their facilities. This time it was out a Wynnum.
Soo lucky with the weather today – fingers crossed we are okay for tomorrow – my last shoot for 2009!!!

Meet the Bergin family. Little Levi, Taylah and big sister Madison.
We did their studio session in the comfort of their home, which was super handy. How sweet does Levi look snoozin with his little green beanie on.
See the image of Levi with the blue ted, we have the exact same image of little Miss Taylah at the same age, with a little yellow ducky. Sooo cute!

Harry was the most perfect model for us, sleepy babe. Oww why didn’t I get one of those! haha
His poor big sister was not well, so the shot of the two was the ONLY one I managed to capture. Owww.

Meet Michael & Simone along with their three treasures, Thomas – 4yrs new, Joseph – 2 yrs new and baby Claudia – 6 months new.
Their home is kid heaven! Motorbikes, chooks, birds, pedal cars, push bikes, toys, cubby house, swimming pool and plenty of room to run in.
Meet Hayley and Clint. I photographed their first pregnancy, and actually, the studio photographed their wedding! (My second photographer photographed their special day)
Anyhow, babe number two is not so far away – and it’s another boy!! The little music box gets played to him every night, what a lovely idea.
This time I remembered to photograph their wall, a work in progress. Pretty special
Okay, okay – so here it is. The underwater images from the trash the dress shoot. I have delayed posting these images, as they turned out a little more “morbidly” creative then I imagined.
They don’t really fit in with the blog, in between bellies & babes. But anyhow!
WHAT DO YOU THINK!?
Not the initial idea, although that wasn’t clear and actually I think I would like to re-shoot for a more angelic bride goddess look.
But, they are still kinda cool, in their own gothic way.

August 30, 2010 - 7:01 pm - Hey, it was a bit of a snaky surprise for the gold coast pool. well, a last minute call, not sure how they would appreciate someone doing it regularly. they had a Lifguard on standby for us.. very privileged !

- Is this a pool you have available for you to use all the time? We don't have a pool at the studio, but I'm wondering if any of the local pools would let us do something like this.

December 7, 2009 - 7:35 pm - Hey Liz, I agree, being able to tell thats it in a pool really lets it down. I need a Photoshop wiz to work on that - could be REALLY cool with swampy backdrop. My fav is with the mottled light, veil over face, arms behind head (12). Funny enough, the mottled light turned out the best for this shoot. :) Was a fun experiment

Back to school for me!
St Rita’s College year twelve girls celebrated their final day, last week.
What a beautiful way to say farewell,the girls were given flowers in thanks for their guidance from the younger girls. After their assembly, they were cheered by the whole school.
So exciting!
I also did some more shots for the school prospectus, and as usual – so many more I’d love to post! But best not get too carried away
