Cairns wedding photographer travel

Happy Valentines Day to you!  What a special day to be getting married (And because it’s my birthday! woot woo lol)

Mum, Jim and I flew up to Cairns for my darlinga Jasmine & Luke’s wedding. Jaz was the girl next door when I was a kid, and although they moved up there whilst we were young, our muma’s have kept in close touch with visits and therefore so have we.

Was awesome to be apart of, and I felt very special to be called up as the witness too. Hehe

Thanks Ro & Colin for an awesome Sunday checking out the beautiful Port Douglas, and then a surprise visit from Jaz, Luke and the girls to bid us farewell at the airport!

February 28, 2009 - 11:33 am Rowena - Jasmins mum - The photos we’ve seen so far have been amazing. I have sent some to local and overseas friends and family and they too have commented on the professionalism, clarity and detail of each and every photo. Can’t wait to see the rest of them. We have all voted that the one of Jaz on the pink couch should be entered into whatever is equal to the ‘Oscars’ for photography. To describe it as ‘Strikingly Beautiful’ is an understatement.

With the sky rolling in so very dark when we finished, and the rain hitting once I got in the door – we were so super lucky yesterday afternoon with this session at the Spit – thank goodness! As these guys drove in peak hour traffic from Brissy especially so I could capture their family before moving to Melbourne.

Thank you guys, I feel so special. Claudia 2.5yrs and Nick 10 months did very well indeed! As did Melissa and Mark who jumped around like crazy to get smiles! haha

Hope you enjoyed the yummy fish at Sams! Was it packed out in there? Usually absolutely mental, good fish n chippies I must say.
